RC-00110: Fatal: Error occurred while relinking of ApplyDBTechStack
Problem:
While installing R12.1 Vision instance, the following error occurs:
RW-50004: Error code received when running external process. Check log file for details. Running Database Install Driver for VIS12 instance
The errors occurs when Oracle Universal Installer runs. OUI displays a brief message, then the error appears.
Solution:
Did not clean up the Oracle Inventory directory correctly before reinstallation. Clean up Windows installation, then restart installation.
Checked the database log file (F:oracleVIS12dbtech_st11.1.0appsutillogVIS12_appswindows29131304.log)
shown on the Rapid Install base window.
The following errors appear:

Checked the ApplyDBTechStack log file (Log file located at F:oracleVIS12dbtech_st11.1.0appsutillogVIS12_appswindows2ApplyDBTechStack_09131332.log)
In the ApplyDBTechStack log file, the following message appears:

Noticed that Oracle Universal Installer was launching and then closing before RW-50004 error appeared.
